AY Studios is a tribute to the modern inventor of sunglasses - James Ayschough (1720-1759). As a true pioneer of his time, he experimented with all kinds of lenses to improve our ability to see in different lighting conditions. He dared to follow unconventional paths and was firm in his belief that optics was not only able to improve our eyesight — they could also include colours. His daring nature and ability to break new grounds is at the core of Ay Studios.

We capture the Swedish heritage of effortless minimalism and timeless style, through accessible modern jewellery. All of our jewellery are designed by our design team and head designer Karin Fritz in Stockholm.

We call this approach Refined Function®. Influenced by our Nordic design heritage, we design clothing for its intended conditions. Each Edition is tailored to be light, with a generous range of movement. The careful selection of materials keeps you comfortable. Whilst each piece is made with attention to detail, balancing elegance with functionality to create clothing with enduring quality.
